## Q1 2025 Active Stewardship Engagement Report

Download our 2025 Q1 Active Stewardship Engagement report, which summarizes our efforts and progress engaging with companies on timely corporate governance and ESG issues. 

 Key highlights: 

- As of the end of Q1 2025, the Stewardship team initiated engagement efforts with 180 companies.
- 51% of our focus list companies are in the Americas, 27% in EMEA and 22% in the APAC region. Notably, **53% of companies have shown responsiveness** to our engagement efforts.
- Our focus list included **219 issues**, either ongoing or resolved after successful engagement efforts, spanning the key pillars of the environment (34%), governance (33%), fundamental rights (27%), and risk oversight (6%).
- We spotlight the risks and investor engagement concerning water stewardship, highlighted through a** case study of a Canadian mining company.**

With our Active Stewardship Engagement (ASE) program, Glass Lewis’ Stewardship team engages with approximately 200 focus list companies on behalf of institutional investors. By participating in ASE, investors can optimize their engagement impact with minimal additional effort.
